Church of St. Anthony the Hermit
A single-nave Baroque-Classical church from 1755 located in the heart of Svätý Anton, featuring a valuable panel painting of the Nativity.
This modest single-nave church from 1755 is part of the village's historic architecture along the main road. The Baroque-Classical style is defined by its elegance and precisely crafted details. The interior glows with historic furnishings, a beautiful wooden statue of the Madonna, and, most notably, the panel painting of the Nativity, attributed to Master MS—historians believe the painting originally came from the Church of St. Catherine in Banská Štiavnica.
